The Preferred Partner Manager will oversee a team of Wellness Account Managers, working with direct reports to train on internal policies and procedures as well as specific job knowledge. The Preferred Partner Manager will provide support and guidance with preferred accounts and help establish goals that will result in positive growth. They will work alongside the other Preferred Partner Managers in this Division as it related to broker relations, client retention, and improving team policies and procedures. They will identify additional areas for growth and streamlining as it relates to their team and client relations.

What will your days like look?

  • Provide support to team members for day-to-day management of their clients, tasks, and questions
  • Provide ongoing training of products, services, portal, etc.
  • Provide support on client calls, renewals, roll outs, etc., as needed
  • Provide support for implementation/lead implementation of new clients
  • Conduct weekly check-in meetings with team members to ensure all deadlines are being met and training and support is being provided
  • Assist team members in problem solving and resolving client issues
  • Write and administer annual performance reviews and make suggestions for merit increases, if applicable
  • Manage and maintain Preferred Partner client list
  • Manage and maintain team’s client list
  • Strategize with the VP, Corporate Development and Partnerships, Director of Preferred Partner Teams, and upper management to plan long-term goals and initiatives
  • Assist with the review of marketing materials and wellness portals
  • Develop and communicate procedures
  • Uphold company policies as it relates to employment for employees
  • Manage and maintain personal book of business (1-4 clients)
  • Assist is training of new Wellness Coordinators
  • Communicate new products and portal changes to team
  •  Work in conjunction with VP, Corporate Development and Partnerships and Director of Preferred Partner Teams for monthly preferred partner check-in meetings
  • Collaborate with fellow co-Managers in Account Management Division on various different projects and initiatives
  • Effectively work along side other department heads as it pertains to various projects that will assist their team
  • Assist with additional projects as requested by Director of Preferred Partner Teams
  • Ability to travel, as requested


What should you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required
  • 2+ years of proven success managing a team, required
  • 2+ years related account management experience, required
  • Prior industry knowledge and experience, highly encouraged
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Proficient in working with custom technology platforms
  • Proven success in working with employees in both an office and remote setting
  • Forward and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Well versed in contract language and policies and procedures once presented
  • Able to motivate and direct team members
  • Able to delegate tasks and monitor performance of team members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously, sometimes under tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain flexible
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

What is the work environment?

  • This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
  • This position is a fully remote position, reporting into our home office in Malvern, Pa. Local candidates can have the option of hybrid work in office and remote if desired.
  • Because you will be handling confidential client information, you must work from your home office. You cannot work in a public location.
  • Computer and VPN access are provided. Employee must provide their own internet access.
  • This position’s hours will be Monday through Friday 9am -5pm ET.
