  1. Eat Healthy – It’s harder than it sounds. Begin with eating a healthier breakfast to get your day started on the right foot, and as you create a habit of a healthy breakfast, work on lunch, then dinner. Often success comes in baby steps.
  2. Drink Water – Throw out those sugary drinks. Of course there are some of us who can’t live without coffee, so keep that stocked up. Of course, you can always cut down the amount of sugar in your coffee! Drink at least 8 – 8 ounce glasses a day, or half your bodyweight in ounces.
  3. Sleep – Stop working late every night, and turn your screen time off at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Studies show that having a no-screen time before bedtime helps your body sleep much better.
  4. Exercise – Whether it’s 15 minutes or an hour, get your heart and body moving with some healthy exercises to prepare you for your busy day.
  5. Take Care of Yourself – Many of us don’t take time out to take care of ourselves. Instead we run after our kids, spouses and friends instead of taking care of what’s important – our bodies. Give yourself some downtime and pamper yourself.
